A very rare example of top quality marine China. Most passenger ships had armorial China in the saloon. This example is from ’La Hogue’ one of Dunbar’s more famous vessels. The entire set was custom made by Copeland Spode. That factory was owned by George Copeland a business associate of Duncan Dunbar’s. See page 159 of my book.
